5/29/2006 Going Down to South Park
With all my new computer things I have have everything built, I just am waiting to get my copy
of Media Center Edition before I install everything. So far though my new computer is awesomely
fast.
I am currently downloading a whole bunch of South Park shows to start my collection of T.V. shows
for my server I am building out of my old parts.
Great job to all of the Seniors who have recently graduated. That is actually where I was this weekend
was back in Casper Wyoming for about 24 hours to visist a buddy who just graduated.
There was recently a hole found in the Symantec Anti-virus software that allowed a hacker to take full
controll of your computer without evening you opening a e-mail or downloading anything. Settle down
if you do have Symantec because they fixed the problem yesterday so just go do a automatic update
and you should be safe. The hole was only found in the latest version of the Anti-virus software. And
if you are in the need for a anti-virus program that is dependable, check out
Avast! Software. This is a very good program, in
my opionion much better than Symantec, that will pick up everything and does automatic updates. Oh and
did I mention, it's free for home users. I have a whole list of legit free software on the Software page
of this site so go check that out.
Less Than Jake and Bouncing Souls have both released a new CD and AFI is releasing their new
CD on June 6th. Next month (June 15th) is the start of the Warped Tour and if you are planning
to come to the show in Denver, it comes here on July 23rd. I would suggest that you hop online
and order the tickets at least a month before, it makes things a lot easier. For a full list
of when shows are coming to your area go to the
Warped Tour website.
I heard you're losing your mind, shit, I been lost mine.
But I still stay focused through good and bad times.

5/22/2006 Just Random Stuff
Today is just some random stuff I will be talking about.
There is a new video for Rayman over at IGN.com for the Wii, it is acctually pretty empressive.
What I find weird that I didn't know is that it's being made by UbiSoft. UbiSoft is really
busy, they must have like 30 departments all working on their own stuff because they are
releasing new games left and right for multiplatforms.
Apparently Halo 3 is coming along nicely, they are already testing multiplayer maps. That's right,
they are not just designing them, but testing. So will we see Halo 3 release up against the PS3?
And what is up with all these 3's?
Today I orded a bunch of parts that I will be using to build myself a new system. All in all
it is an awsome powerhouse. The only thing that I didn't buy a really good thing was on the
video card simply due to the fact that I am waiting for DirectX 10 video cards to be released
before I spend to much money on a card. Here is a list of the hardware in my new machine.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 2.2 GHz L1 Cache 128KB+128KB L2 Cache 2x1MB
2x Gigs Corsair DDR400 Memory
ATI X1600 Pro 256MB
2x 80GB Seagate Hardrive (RAID0)
2x 160GB Seagate Hardrive (RAID0)
I am going to do a lot of stuff with this computer, I am trying to do more than just gaming on this PC,
but a full multimedia system. I will be taking all my parts from my old computer and building a
server that will hold movies, T.V. shows, and all my music. Than I will be able to stream these
anywhere in my house because I don't have a LAN phone line so I used all those cables to set up
a network throughout my house. I also plan on building a little time system that will copy all
my recorded shows automatically to my server for storage. But obviously I will still have this
machine as a gaming rig.
Teach me a little, I learn alot. Teach me alot, I learn very little.

5/17/2006 End of E3, Busy is Me
I am sorry about the lack of updates. I just got done finishing up finals for this term at
college and I am actually in my home town of Casper, Wyoming. So I have been working extra
at work so it would be easy for me to come home for a week. It is nice to be back in town
where I can just relax, I don't get to do that very often. Also while I am here I get to visit
a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while, so all in all it's good times.
I do not have a whole lot of exciting news to talk about. I am sure if you are interested you
have poked your nose around to find all the cool games announced at E3 this year, but in case
you were to busy, here is a list of some of the good stuff:
| PS3 | Wii | XBox 360 |
UT 2007 Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (W.A.R.) Turok Metal Gear Solid 4 Rainbow Six: Vegas Tony Hawk: Project 8 Final Fantasy XIII Grand Theft Auto IV Spider-Man 3 Tekken 6 Killzone Devil May Cry 4 Call of Duty 3 Heavenly Sword |
Metroid Prime 3 Sonic Wild Fire Wii Sports Super Monkey Ball Fire Emblem Super Mario Galaxy The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii Version) Red Steel Super Smash Bros. Brawl Duck Hunt Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Tony Hawk Downhill Jam Resident Evil Wii Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Crystal Bearers Metal Slug Anthology Call of Duty 3 |
Halo 3 Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (W.A.R.) Fable 2 Enchanted Arms The Darkness Rainbox Six: Vegas F.E.A.R. Turok DDR Universe Gears of War Saints Row Huxley Lost Planet Splinter Cell: Double Agent Too Human Tony Hawk: Project 8 Spider-Man 3 Grand Theft Auto IV Call of Duty 3 |
This is not all the games announced, but these are some of the ones that I find interesting
or cool. The only other thing I can think of is for you book lovers or the people who are to
lazy to read, only two days on the 19th, The Da Vinci Code is being released to theaters. That's
all for today, now go read some Penny-Arcade.

5/9/2006 Halo 3, PS3, and More From E3
I just downloaded the Halo 3 trailer on the XBox
Market, but you don't have to have a 360 to watch this video, simply go to Bungie.net or
simply to click here
to go directly to the news announcement and you can download a low and high quality video.
I want you to keep this in mind while watching this video, it is all done in real time, none
of it is CG, meaning that is how it will look while playing. And this is the final game of
the Halo series, Bungie said so, but I am sure Bill Gates will be pushing on them to make a
new FPS. A huge hurt on the PS is that GTA4, one of the babies for the Playstation, will actually
be launched at the same time on the XBox 360 October 17, 2007.
Playstation also had a confrenece where they announced that the PS3 is due to launch this
November for a price tag of $499/$599. That's right, just as Sony said that they wouldn't do,
they did. They are releasing two different version similar to the way the 360 did. So let me
get this straight, Sony is releasing two versions, it will have a hard drive, and you will
be able to download games to your hard drive. I am not going to say anything there.
Nintendo has also been announcing games left and right. Nintendo Tennis is one game, but it's
not Mario Tennis. The game I am most excited about is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, check out
some games at here.
Another cool game is the sequal to Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronics that is coming to Wii. And just
when you thought you knew everything about the new controller, Nintendo throws a side ball a
change up. That's right, that last piece of innovation added to the Wii controller is a built
in speaker allowing for a audio experiance like no other.
But I am extremely tired, so I am going to go to sleep. E3 has done a lot of their announcements,
and I will keep adding new stuff as I find them.

5/6/2006 PDZ Update and Wii News
Just Thursday, there was a update for Perfect Dark Zero. It's a quick download but does a lot
of things. One thing is it prepares your system for the future maps and it ads some cool things
to multiplayer such as bots in Dark Ops, no longer just Death Match. Here is a full list,
PDZ Update. Here is a sneak peak to the four new levels;
High Res(45.6 MB)
Med Res(9.1 MB)
(right click and Save As).
As I mentioned last post, Wii is getting a new Tony Hawk called Downhill Jam. This is going to be an
exclusive title for Wii and they plan to make a entire series out of the game for Wii. The way the
game will play is by holding the controller sideways and you will use the A,B, and the button on the
back to do tricks, and from what I am understanding, you will actually turn by turning the
controller, sorta like a stearing wheel. The whole point of the game is to race down hills and
do tricks. Every trick landed will add to your boost. At least it will be different than the
rest of the franchise.
Speaking of a succesful series, Call of Duty has been probably the most succesful WWII game
of all time, even above Battlefield. Well it seems that they are trying to keep their success
rolling with Call of Duty 3 which is planned to be released for PS, XBOX/X360, and Wii this
year.
Sense there really isn't anything out there like this, I am going to start the movement with
something I like to call Achievements Made EZ. I will be getting a capture card here shortly
and will be able to get screen shots in order to help explain and show how to do certain
achievements. The point of this is to help with some of the more difficult achievements or
fast ways to do some of the more excrusiating ones. Not sure when I will get it completely up,
but I will start it as soon as I am done making this post, which is right now. Fare Well.

I've been thinkin maybe I've been partly cloudy, maybe I'm the chance of rain.
Maybe I'm overcast, and maybe all my lucks washed down the drain. - SwitchFoot

5/1/2006 Nintendo Announces A Name
For the longest time Nintendo's next console has been referred to as Revolution, the system's
codename. But on April 24th, Nintendo announced the official name for the system, check out my
thoughts on the page Wii The People. Along with the new
name there have been a few new games announced including Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz,
Metal Slug Anthology, and Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam.
I am so proud of myself. Today I beat Perfect Dark Zero on solo Dark Agent. Along with that
I am now ranked number 67 in the world on Level 11: Outpost Rescue, and I am also in the top
300 in the world for most of the rest of the levels. I just need someone good to play with to
do the same on co-op.
Well that is enough for today, have a good one, and maybe and can do more for the site tomorrow,
after all, it's only a day away.

I'm going to drop you like a bad conversation. - Perfect Dark Zero
