So as you noticed I didn't get around to posting again until today. Last week I got caught up with working
around 40 hours plus going to school. So here is my update today now that I am done with my Cisco final.
One of the Games that I am excited for, and you can call me lame, I don't care, is Rock Band. If you haven't
heard, Guitar Hero III will not be made by Harmonix like the original two. Guitar Hero III will be made by
the Tony Hawk makers, Activition. Harmonix instead is combining all their old projects, Karaoke Revolution
and Guitar Hero, and adding a new item, a drum set. Rock Band will allow you and three other friends play
songs together. Now four people on a TV following different things can be cluttered and tough for many to do,
so it's a good thing they are adding online play, with any combination of local and remote players. And below is
some of the developers playing the game
There was a little more Halo 3 news, mostly just a couple updates on saving films such as the
ability to save Campaign movies. And there has been reports that Halo 3 will not feature
online co-op. Well if it is or not has not finalized. They are trying to add it before launch,
it would be stupid not to, but if they can't get it by launch then they will try and do an
update for it. But if this is absolutely needed by you, there is still the option to use
XBConnect which allows you to play
over the Internet as if you are playing System Link. So quit your whining.
But before Halo, before Oni for the Playstation, Bungie was
known for Marathon. Now Marathon is coming to the XBox Live Arcade. Though there wasn't much
information during the Microsoft Press Conference, it has been revealed it will support multiplayer
and you can play both original version and HD versions.
Nintendo showed some things, most of the exciting stuff is nothing new like Metroid Prime 3 and Mario
Galaxy. The weird thing that they showed was Mario in a bee suite. I understand Nintendo likes to
reach to the younger generation, but as fun as Mario looks at time, two seconds later it is in the
opposite side of the spectrum with looking lame. So it will have to wait until I get to play it until
I know if it's worth it. Then more was revealed on the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
