7/31/2006 To wake up, or not to wake up
The ended last Wednesday at Westwood, and the next one is starting, I just don't know if it's
tomorrow or Wednesday, I hope it's not tomorrow because that means I have to wake up. Today
was exciting for me because I got three new video games: Hitman: Blood Money, Prey, and Tomb
Raider: Legend. I only played Tomb Raider today and am enjoying it more than I thought I would.
I think once I beat the game 100% that there won't be much after that, but leading up to that
this is a enjoyable game for myself.

It takes some of my favorite elements of gaming and throws them together, shooting and
problem solving. This entire game is a huge puzzle, one small piece after another. With
the limited tools they give you, you need to figure out how all the puzzles to gather parts
of a sword that is just like a puzzle. If you become frustrated by games that make you figure
something out, stay away. Most of this puzzles aren't to difficult, but sometimes you can
get stuck in a rut. The most difficult thing about this game, expecially for someone trying
to get the achievements would be collecting all the rewards and the time trial. To be quite
honest, the hard difficulty on this game from what I have seen on the first five levels is
a joke. The bad guys may not drop as many health packs, but when you get to a check point
and die, your health is full, you don't keep the amount of health you had when you got to the
check point. Like any other game, there is some good, there is some bad, but I feel the good
out way the bad on this one, and it isn't a bad price either, $39.99 right now for a new
copy of the game.
I was browsing through EBgames.com today when I noticed something rather interesting that I am
actually surprised that they were selling.

It will allow you to transfer game saves from your 360 to your computer, allowing you to never
have to buy another expensive hard drive again. What is really great about this is that it
works with the first application to be able to read and write to the 360 Drives called
Xplorer360 allowing you to easily transfer/backup your files, or download other peoples saved
files because they may have something unlocked that you want to see. Where can you get this
program and other people saved files, from 360GameSaves.com.
This remindes me back when I had something like this for the Nintendo 64.
Well I hope something that I wrote today has somewhat made up for the lack of updates lately.

7/21/2006 Sleepy Sleepy
Sorry ahead time for any spelling/grammer errors, I am just to tired to even read over what
I write.
This weekend is Warp Tour for the people in the Denver Colorado. So if you are a punk rock
fan, I am sure you already know that, I am just excited. Umm... that's all I guess. I am going
to go basically pass out on my couch. I will let you know how Warp Tour goes.

7/15/2006 Frogger to the Rescue
It has been 25 years sense the first frogger was released into the arcades of the world and
sense then, there has been many knock-offs/spin-offs of the game. This coarages has been
crossing roads for a long time and has been hit by many vehicles. But he still keeps trying like
the little engine that could. Konami now brings the 25th Aniversy Frogger to the XBox Live
Marketplace for a light price tag of $5.00. This game is addictive and keeps you saying
"Just one more try" until it's been over an hour after you started saying that. I know because
that is what happened to me tonight. But is it to much to ask for the game to be full screen?
At least vertically they still have alot of room to spare that could easily
help me from squinting at times. Take a look at this screenshot from IGN.com as an example:
Other than that I really don't have a whole lot to complain about in this game. It's what
the XBox Arcade is suppose to be about, simple and yet fun. No high end HD graphics here, just
a simple 2-D, score as many points as possible type of game.
Today I also got to spend some time with an old friend of mine, Jennifer. We talked about
the things we have done over the past couple of years and reminensed about times past. It was
cool though because we have been friends pretty much as long as I can remember and we hadn't
talked in years so it was really cool to actually spend some time with her again. If you have
some friends you have been meaning to get ahold of, stop delaying and go do it, NOW! haha.

7/11/2006 Time Flies
I did not realize that it was five days sense my last post. Part of that probably derives from
my wonderful parents coming down this last weekend to visit me. I am sure it was nice for
them as it provided some time off from there busy lives. Oh and I accidently lost my July
4th post, so if you missed it, to bad cause it was pretty funny.
But to get to actual news instead of my day to day life, rumor has it that the XBox 360 may
be releasing a version with HDMI like Sony has in their PS3. I personally doubt it, but that
is just me. Here is a picture from a person who remains anonymous:

It appears to be real, but it's kinda hard to say, I have taken apart my 360 and that is the
GPU heatsink that you see off on the far right. I know this because my 360 broke down finally
after many hard hours on it. Unfortunatly Microsoft would not take it back without me paying
for it, but I said screw it, I will try and fix this myself. And I did, for a few hours.
To sum it all up I bought myself a new one yesterday. If yours does break down after Microsofts
3 month grace period, here is a tip. They start out by saying that they will fix it for like
$120 dollars. Just be really hesitant and be like "I don't know, that's pretty expensive."
They will probably be pretty quick to offer 25% off, just like a cars salesman. Well this
brings it down to just under $100 for the fix. But stand your ground for a little longer and
they might say, "If you want I will try and get you 50% off." I know because they offered this
to me, and I probably should have taken it. But instead I now have a 360 I can mod.
For the last bit of news has to do with Too Human. I didn't realize it until about 5 minutes
ago but I am becoming really excited for this game. Sure it looks pretty, but that is not why.
Think way back when, back to when the Gamecube was first released time era. The game is not
known by many outside of Nintendo's world, or even within it if you ask me. It was called
Eternal Darkness. This game... was incredible. The story for some reason just gripped a hold
of me. I would stay up really late playing this game and would go to bed constantly looking
over my shoulder because I just fell so deep with this story. If I had to have a top 10 list,
this is a strong choice for me. Turns out, I am not sure if I just over looked this, but Too
Human is actually a part of this world, this story. Too Human is a trilogy series and each
game has a sorta "plot" to it: discovery, revenge, and enlightenment.
OK. Enough for today. Have a good one

7/6/2006 He's Alive!
For about a month and a half, 360Insider.net has been dead. Nothing but the forums had changed.
The rumors started flying that he died in a horrible accident by some jerk that thought it
would be funny and claim to know the family. The rumors were shut down by another person
that apparently does actually know Justin but still no word from Justin. Finally Justin has
made a post on his site saying he has been in Alaska and to busy to post. It's good to know
he is alive because he really seems like a nice guy and does a great job on the site, a lot
of breaking news about the XBox. Now the site is going to be written by multiple people and
being hosted by GamerAndy.com.
IGN CubeToons had a great comic strip about the way all the fan boys began to act after this
years E3. I really like the Wii60 on the last panel. Here it is:

7/2/2006
I bought a few new CD's about a week ago: Allister's Before the Blackout, NOFX's Wolves in
Wolves Clothing, and Anti-Flag's For Blood and Empire.
Before the Black is a similar style to their CD before this called Last Stop Suburbia. Still
a catchy pop punk band, but a good one. This album's guitar style reminds me a little of
Strung Out's CD American Paradox.
NOFX newest record continues with their sound of The War on Errorism, but isn't nearly as
pollictical. So what do these old time punk rockers sing about in this CD? Well getting drunk,
killing a man, and the haters who hate them for being a successful band. No sex change songs
on this album.
Following a similar pattern as the other two, Anti-Flag continued to grow off of the style
of their last release Terror State. But unlike NOFX, this album is very political, come on
it's Anti-Flag, of coarse it's going to be political. Defying -isms is what this incredible
band does.
All in all I am very pleased with all the new release (no matter how long ago they were released)
from all of these great bands. MySpace.com-aholics (or anyone for that matter) can listen to songs from all three of these
CD's by going to the bands profiles. I will make it easy for you:
